Introduction to Counselling - Level 2 

At Lindum we offer a level 2 certificate to give the student information which will hopefully enable them to make an informed decision whether counsellor training is right for them.

The course is 12 hours and costs just £60.00

Counselling Skills Certificate - Level 3 Ofqual equivalent

This is the foundation course that will lead you to a counselling qualification

In this course you will learn the principles of counselling and how to build an essential relationship with clients, with the emphasis on confidentiality, empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard.

  • You will gain more self awareness by engaging in personal development. We will teach you how to really listen and attend. At this level we use a person centred approach based on the theory of Carl Rogers.

Entry Level:

  • There is no entry level for this course.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a Level 3 Counselling Skills Certificate and

be eligible to apply for our Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC)

Level 4 Diploma in integrative counselling 

Course Ref: LIC21-L4

Our level 4 diploma will teach you skills to work at a deeper level with complex issues and allow you to practice and develop different theoretical styles to find the best way to work that suits your clients’ needs and your personality.

After successful completion of this course you will be a qualified counsellor. You can then apply for full membership and continue your journey towards accreditation.

Entry Level:

  • Prospective students will attend an interview to assess their suitability for this course

After successful completion of our L4 you will be awarded a Higher National Certificate L4 and will have the option to continue onto

the Level 5 Higher National Diploma

On successful completion of the HNC you will be eligible to apply for full membership of BACP

You will be invited to a Lindum College Cap and Gown graduation event to celebrate your success.

This level 5 course enhance your therapeutic skills that will broaden your perspective, allowing you to work at greater with clients.

Interest free payment scheme

Deposit £300 followed by 10 consecutive monthly payments of £120

Entry requirement: Classroom based level 4 in counselling which included 100 hours in placement
